Can residents get a refund if something goes wrong?

Yes. All customer service is handled directly by DB Smart Markets. Residents contact us — not your management office. Refunds are processed immediately and automatically. Your team will never receive a complaint about the machine.

How much space does the machine actually take up?

The machine is approximately 30 inches wide and 80 inches tall — roughly the footprint of a large refrigerator. It requires 6 inches of clearance from the wall for ventilation and a single standard 110V outlet. No special installation required.

How often is the machine restocked?

We monitor inventory remotely in real time. Restocking frequency is based on your building's actual usage — typically one to two visits per week for most locations. We never let the machine run low on popular items.

What if we want to end the partnership?

Our placement agreement includes clear, fair termination terms. We require written notice in advance and will coordinate machine removal promptly and professionally. There is no penalty to your building for ending the partnership.

Does DB Smart Markets carry proper insurance?

Yes. We carry a full Business Owner's Policy with $2,000,000 general liability coverage per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate. Your building is fully protected. We can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

Is DB Smart Markets properly licensed to operate in Chicago?

Yes. We hold an active City of Chicago Limited Business License issued by the BACP, which covers all machine locations citywide. We are also fully registered with the State of Illinois for sales tax collection and compliance.
